Gutter Mast

I'm kind of lazy, and I hate pulling out ladders, so I came up with an easy way to mount a small antenna from my gutters. I can install or remove the mast/antenna(s) from a second floor window.

The above shows my Meshtastic antenna. The mast attaches to the gutter with cheap hooks from Lowes (see picture below). Clothesline is tied to the bottom of the mast and is then attached to a weight on the ground with just enough tension to keep the mast upright. To install it, I open the window, reach out with the mast and hook it onto the gutter, and drop the clothesline to the ground. I then go outside, pull tension on the clothesline, and tie it off.

HF Multiband Antenna

My first attempt at an HF multiband antenna. It was a 4 band antenna, 80m, 40m, 20m and 10m. It worked pretty well, got voice contacts all around the US, and on FT8 overseas to Europe, Japan and Australia. Followed this diagram.

New Repeater antenna installed

The new antenna was installed Tuesday morning. Here is a photo of the new antenna in place, at the very top of the tower:
