Gutter Mast
I'm kind of lazy, and I hate pulling out ladders, so I came up with an easy way to mount a small antenna from my gutters. I can install or remove the mast/antenna(s) from a second floor window.

The above shows my Meshtastic antenna. The mast attaches to the gutter with cheap hooks from Lowes (see picture below). Clothesline is tied to the bottom of the mast and is then attached to a weight on the ground with just enough tension to keep the mast upright. To install it, I open the window, reach out with the mast and hook it onto the gutter, and drop the clothesline to the ground. I then go outside, pull tension on the clothesline, and tie it off.

I have another mast on the other end of the house with a broadcast FM antenna and a GMRS antenna. I have had both masts up for about a year. They are very stable in the wind. They're cheap to make, too!

Great idea, David! Thanks. Looking at my rain gutters now....
